Colosseum and Forum in the morning light, then free afternoon for the Vatican (optional early entry) or neighbourhood wandering.

Best months to travel
Spring (Apr–Jun) and autumn (Sep–Oct) are ideal for Rome and Tuscany — warm days, grape harvest, thinner crowds. July–August is peak heat and crowds; winter is mild in the south and good for city wandering.
Common questions
One-way private-driver routing avoids a long return drive. Fly into FCO/CIA and out of FLR (or continue to Venice/Milan on request). We can reverse the itinerary if you prefer.
Most transfer days are 1.5–2.5 hours with scenic stops. The longest is roughly Rome–Siena via Orvieto (~3 hours of driving broken with lunch). Day touring in cities is short hops and walking.
Yes — Amalfi works best as a southern extension before Rome, Venice after Florence. Ask your specialist; both are offered as priced add-ons.
Yes for peak months. We arrange timed entry when the tour is confirmed; summer and Easter need the most lead time.
